Egå youth folk high school gives you the chance to develop in a versatile and independent way, while understanding the importance of the community.

Challenges
The folk high school can give you a fresh and broader perspective on life through classes and the meeting with other young people. You are given the opportunity to test yourself in relation to different subjects. You will be proficiently challenged even in subjects that you are already familiar with, and you will have the chance to try on new subjects. You will become aware of your own abilities and enjoy many positive experiences.

The community
When you attend Egå youth folk high school, you will be part of a greater whole consisting of very different young people. We expect that you be prepared to take an active and committed part in the classes and the widespread student democracy. It is important that you realise that all students are responsible for making things work. If you live up to the responsibility of committing yourself to a constructive community, you will realise that attending Egå youth folk high school allows for a great freedom.

To us, committing yourself constructively to a community means being prepared to listen to others, to express your own opinions, being open to co-operate and being ready to put a positive effort into all areas involving the school.
