Applying/Scholarships

If you wish to apply for Egå Ungdoms-Højskole, please fill out the application form. Citizens of the EU also need to send a copy of their passports. If you are below the age of 18 your parents need to fill out a declaration of content and this should also be sent to the school along with a copy of your birth certificate.

Please notice that if you are not from the EU applying for a visa can take a long time.

Students from the new countries of the EU can apply for a CIRIUS scholarship (now called Danish Agency for International Education). This scholarship is partly paid by the agency and the school itself. The scholarship can usually max cover half a year so if you wish to stay for a full year you will maybe have to cover expenses for the last half year yourself. But ask the administration. Please note that the school will apply for you in this case and that there are a limited number of scholarships, so be quick.

There are different scholarships and forms of financial support that other overseas students can apply for themselves:

Students from Norway
Students from Sweden
Students from Iceland
Students from Finland
Students from the Faroe Islands

Students from Greenland: please contact your local Fritidsinspektør.
