Payment for the course should be done a month in advance, according to statement sent one month before the start of the course. The price is 1275 DKK a week, but in the final calculation the subsidies from the state have been deducted so that the final price is 975 DKK a week (the school will make sure that the subsidies from the state are in order so this is not something that the student should do).

Please note that the first rate of school fees should be paid before school start according to the aforementioned statement.

Payment can be done to the school’s bank account: SWIFT address: VEHODK22 IBAN account: DK2677390002014120 or in cash at the school’s office.

If the student is absent from the school for a week, or more, the subsidies from the state will be lost for that period of time, and the price will be the full 1275 DKK.

If the stay is terminated, payment for full three weeks will have to be paid, that is 3825 DKK (on top of the money for the time that the student has been here).

A registration fee of 2500DKK is charged along with the enrolment. 1000DKK is refunded if the student cancels the stay later than 2 months before the start of the course.

The abovementioned paragraphs about economy are not relevant for Cirius students.

All fees and expenses concerning the stay at the folk high school is then paid, and only if the expenses for materials exceed 1200DKK, more will have to be paid to the school. The student will continuously be updated on his or her expenses for materials used in class.

Student identification cards: from the material expenses 35DKK will be used for a student identification card. By showing the identification card it is possible to obtain discounts on some bus fares, theatres and cinemas, museums and much more. Especially during the school trip large discounts can be obtained by showing the student identification card. If the student does not want an identification card this should be notified to the office upon arrival.

The abovementioned prices are valid at the time of writing and may be subject to change.

If you have any enquiries concerning economy please contact the office at: (+45) 86 22 01 26 / info@euh.dk

Insurance

Reliability:

Most students will be covered by their parents’ (family-) insurance. The school has a third party liability insurance for students who are not covered by their parents’ insurance while at the school. This does not cover day-time/part-time students.

Travel:

The school will take out a travel insurance in connection with the school trip, but make sure that the student is covered (medically) abroad (the yellow- and blue health insurance card [EU] or something similar to Danish students).

Other:

We cannot take out an insurance that covers the possessions of the student while at the school. The insurance of the family will have to cover in case of theft of the student’s private properties.

Accident insurance:

The student should take out a (full-time) accident insurance if this is desired.

If the student damages the properties of the school or others he or she will be held reliable.
